I.Analysis of the teaching material:
This unit is taken from PEP, Grade 6 Unit5 with the topic of jobs. The purpose of this unit is to tell students how to talk about different jobs . By studying this unit student will not only be able to talk about different jobs,but also know the relationships between hobbies and jobs.By studying the story ,students will know choosing a suitable job is important.They will also be able to comprehend what they should do now if they want to choose a suitable job in the future.
II.Analysis of the students :
Students of Grade 6 have already learn English for 4-6 years. They may good at learning the vocabulary,good at learning sentences. But they may have some difficult in comprehend passages well.Especially the theme behind the article .Teacher should help them.
III.Teaching aims:
Knowledge aims:
1. Students will be able to comprehend the material.
2. Students will be able to read the material fluently and with the right pause.
3. Students will be able to draw a mind map and write a short article.
Ability aims:
Students will be able to use those knowledge in their daily life .For example,they can communicate well about hobbies and jobs in their daily life and they can talk about what do they want to be in the future.And what should they do to choose a suitable job.
Moral aims:
After this class students will be able to comprehend what they should do now if they want to choose a suitable job in the future.
IV.Teaching difficult and important points.
1. Important points:
Students will be able to comprehend the article and can read them fluently with right pause.
2. Difficult points:
1) .Students will be able to draw a mind map and write an article on their own and can communicate with each other properly in their daily life .
2).Students can understand the theme behind the story.
